150th Anniversary - June, 2006
The Anniversary Committee chose Sunday, June 11 to the the day that the "big" celebration would take place. Pastor Karl Gurgel, President of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod and former pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lake Mills, WI, was the guest preacher for this service. The members of the congregation could not have asked for a better day in which to celebrate this 150th anniversary. The weather was perfect: the sun was shining and gentle breezes were blowing. Over 200 people attended the 10:30 A.M. service that day. An old-fashioned picnic followed the service.
